I haven't had a day off in weeks and yet, somehow, I have no money. It goes to rent, to food, to gas, to new clothes for work, and these end up being very expensive.
I am dog tired, but have been unable to get more than six hours of sleep a night.
I drove up past the fogline after getting off at Safeway (just one of the three jobs i've been pulling), so that way I could see the shooting stars. It required parking in the middle of nowhere, and risking either death of cold, or kidnapping. Fortunately yours truely is hale & hearty as well as unransomable.
The crisp night reminded me of my mortality, and the stars were beautiful.
My feet hurt and it is time to sleep.

I also work at the Nickelodian, which is a local independent movie theatre. it doesn't pay much, but it does make it worth my while because of the free movies there and elsewhere that I get.
As of last week I am a Starbucks "partner" (which a stupid way to say "employee")
I am also Laura's personal assistant, but she pays me in lasagnas. So, it doesn't count because I am lactose intollerant.
